A 17-year-old incoming senior high school student from Taguig City was shot and killed.
As reported by TV5's 'Frontline Pilipinas Weekend,' the victim was supposed to meet someone who wanted to buy his bike case or "Batalya" in Filipino.
To get to the meeting place, he borrowed his grandmother's e-trike, but only the electric vehicle and the item for sale returned.
According to the initial investigations, the suspect attempted to steal the victim's e-trike.

However, the victim resisted, which resulted in the suspect shooting the 17-year-old victim.
Two empty bullet shelves were recovered at the crime scene.
Investigations and CCTV backtracking are being conducted by the police authorities.
The victim was an incoming senior high school student who wanted to become a soldier.
According to the victim's grandmother, her grandson had no beef with anyone, and his only hobby was to play basketball.
The victim's grandmother urged the suspect to surrender and also for eyewitnesses to help them solve the case.
