In the same video of the arrest, the suspect said he heard the suspects planning to kill him using a pillow.
He said he used a 'balisong' and a knife to kill all 7 victims.
When asked how he was not hurt and if anyone fought back, the suspect said it was dark since he turned off the lights, and he was at an advantage because he was then holding 2 weapons.
According to him, he left his 'balisong' at the side of their comfort room inside the bakery. The other knife was left inside a room.
He also said he hit those victims who were still moving.
According to the suspect's statement, it seemed that he shared the bakery business with one of the victims.
Allegedly, his business partner wanted to make it look like he died from his sleep so they'd have the chance to own their business alone.

Before fleeing, one of the suspects even grabbed a bag and a mobile phone from the suspects. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
