This stance directly contradicted an earlier statement issued by CLMMRH, labeling Bombo Radyo’s claims as "categorically false."
The escalating situation has drawn further attention to the devastating incident that claimed the lives of three individuals, including Dynah Talanas Plohinog, and injured several others when a vehicle struck a religious procession.

The station highlighted specific details from its live coverage on the evening of April 18, 2025.
According to Bombo Radyo, their reporter, Bombo Arjay Kim Casipe, was approached by a member of the Barangay Alangilan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
This individual reportedly requested the radio station to make an on-air appeal to locate the victim's family, relaying information received from the rescuer transporting the injured Dynah Talanas Plohinog.
Crucially, Bombo Radyo asserted that the rescuer explicitly stated that the hospital would not admit the patient without the presence of family members to assume responsibility.
This urgent plea was broadcast live and also shared on the station's Facebook page.
Bombo Radyo challenged CLMMRH to review the unedited recording of their live report to verify the sequence of events.

The station emphasized the crucial role of journalists in relaying information vital to public safety, especially when first responders highlight potential barriers to emergency medical care.
In contrast, CLMMRH’s earlier statement expressed condolences to the victims and their families while firmly denying the alleged refusal of treatment.
The hospital asserted its commitment to providing urgent and compassionate care to all patients, irrespective of their status or whether they are accompanied by family.
CLMMRH maintained that its medical teams acted swiftly and in accordance with established emergency protocols during the mass casualty incident.
The hospital cautioned against the spread of misinformation, stating that it erodes public trust and discredits the efforts of medical frontliners, urging the public to verify facts and calling on the involved media outlet to issue a correction.
The discrepancy between the two accounts raises serious questions about the immediate aftermath of the tragedy and the protocols followed in providing emergency medical assistance.
