Another passenger mentioned that evacuating the bus was challenging, prompting someone to break a hole through the glass windows to help others get out.

The bus was from Angat, Bulacan going to Monumento, Caloocan.

According to investigations, the bus and the dump truck were on the 4th lane of NLEX.

The bus tried going to the third lane, however, the closed van was there and hit it, before hitting the dump truck ahead of it.

Authorities added that the bus must've been really fast to cause such an impact and damage to the other two vehicles.

The bus driver and dump truck driver agreed to settle during their conversation at the police station.

Meanwhile, the bus driver and the company that owns it both refused to issue any statement about the incident.

In a statement with the authorities, the bus company said they're willing to pay for the hospital/medical bills of the victims.
