A man was declared dead on arrival at the hospital after reportedly falling from the third floor of the Legazpi City Public Market earlier this morning, authorities said.

According to PEMS Carlo Paña, the Information Officer of the Legazpi City Police Station, the incident occurred around the early hours of the day.
Paña confirmed in an interview with Brigada News FM Legazpi that the victim is believed to be over 40 years old and a resident of Ligao City.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. Investigators are still trying to determine whether the fall was accidental, intentional, or if foul play was involved.
