A singer in the Kapuso network surprised a lot of television viewers after he joined the newest Kapamilya talent competition, “Idol Philippines.”
KAMI learned that it was Kier King, previously known as Ralf King in GMA-7, who auditioned for the said singing contest.
He sang the hit song “You Are The Reason” by Calum Scott and he successfully got the nod of the judges.
Before joining “Idol Philippines,” the 24-year-old Kier was a member of the Kapuso boyband called “One Up.”
He was also paired with “The Clash” winner Golden Cañedo and their last performance was in “Studio 7” few months ago.
The said Kapuso singer also got the chance to be with Regine Velasquez when he joined “Bet Ng Bayan” where the “Asia’s Songbird” was the host.
Because of a successful audition, Kier advanced to the next round and he will sing again in “Idol City” together with the other qualifiers.
