In a previous report by KAMI, President Bong-Bong Marcos Jr. and the senatorial candidates of Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas conducted their campaign rallies in Cavite and Laguna. However, PBBM noticeably didn't mention the name of his sister, incumbent Senator Imee Marcos during his speeches. It can be recalled that Sen. Imee conducted a Senate probe on the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte. Kawawa naman si presidente Duterte," said senator Imee in front of some press people.
Prior to this news, Senator Imee Marcos issued her statement about the recent arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte. In what seemed to be a press conference shared by ANC 24/7 on their YouTube channel, senator Marcos showed sympathy to the former president. It can be recalled that FPRRD was arrested after a warrant of arrest was released by the ICC against Duterte for crimes against humanity. However, sen Imee claimed that she hasn't seen the warrant of arrest by ICC following the former president's arrest.
