According to NBI, the expired meats were allegedly being reprocessed or relabeled to make it appear that they were not yet expired.

However, the company's legal counsel denied the accusations and said they'd answer them in the proper forum.

The discovered expired imported meat products' worth was summed up at P600 million. The NBI also wanted the immediate disposal of the expired meat to avoid it being sold in the market.

The company will be charged with the violation of the Consumer Act of the Philippines or Republic Act No. 7394.
