A man from Ronda, Cebu lost his life after being stabbed 22 times right in front of his house.
According to a report by TV5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the crime took place on Wednesday while the victim was drinking with a relative or friend.
The victim reportedly made fun of the suspect’s palm wine, joking that it was mixed with water.
The suspect did not take the repeated joke lightly, which eventually led to the violent attack.

Tragically, the crime happened in front of the victim's innocent child.
The suspect was immediately arrested. Police authorities were also able to recover the murder weapon, a 17-inch long machete.
According to reports, the suspect refused to issue his statement in front of the camera. However, he said that he didn't manage to hold back because he feared for the reputation of his business.
He is now detained in Ronda Police Station and will be charged with murder.

That's when the suspect stabbed the victim, multiple times; as reported, the victim sustained a total of 13 stab wounds.
