A tragic shooting incident took place in Cebu, where a 27-year-old fried chicken vendor was gunned down by a riding-in-tandem assailant.

The victim, identified as Jade Mark Dungog, a resident of Barangay Labangon, was busy selling fried chicken when he was suddenly attacked, according to Brigada News Philippines.

Eyewitnesses recounted that before the fatal shooting, the gunman casually approached Dungog and inquired about the price of the fried chicken he was selling.

However, in a shocking turn of events, after receiving a response, the gunman drew a firearm and shot Dungog from behind.

After committing the crime, the assailant quickly boarded a motorcycle driven by an accomplice, and the duo fled the scene.

Authorities are now investigating the incident, reviewing possible motives and gathering evidence to identify the perpetrators.

In an interview, the victim’s older sister described Dungog as a kind and peaceful individual.

She also revealed that the last person he had an altercation with was his live-in partner, raising questions about whether the dispute could be connected to the tragic event.

The brutal killing has left the community in shock and mourning, with calls for justice growing stronger.

The sister of the victim could not help but cry her heart out as she expressed her heartbreak over the death of her brother.
