Vigor Mendoza. Isinuko ko din po ang aking lisensya sa LTO," Royeca stated in his post.
He continued by writing:
It can be remembered that Angkas riders previously went viral in a video that has now reached 6.7 million views.
In the viral video, a large number of Angkas riders blocked an intersection road in Cainta, Rizal.
In the same video, some of the riders even went down their vehicle to manage the traffic with some even blocking a truck who wanted to pass.
In an interview with ASEC. Vigor Mendoza, Chief of Land Transportation Office in Gising Pilipinas courtesy of Teleradyo Serbisyo which was uploaded in ABS-CBN News Youtube channel, he confirmed that Royeca's license was indeed revoked.
However, ASEC Mendoza mentioned that Royeca can appeal for reconsideration.

Angkas is a popular ride-hailing app in the Philippines that allows people to book motorcycle rides for faster travel. It’s a convenient option, especially in cities with heavy traffic, because motorcycles can easily get through tight roads. Users can book a ride through the app, where they can see the driver’s details, fare estimate, and route. Angkas drivers are trained to ensure passenger safety, and helmets are provided for both the driver and the rider. It’s an affordable, quick, and reliable way to get around, especially for those in a hurry.
In a previous report by KAMI, George Royeca, the CEO of Angkas, issued an apology for what transpired in a viral video of their motorcycle riders. In the video shared by VISOR on their Facebook page, a group of Angkas riders suddenly blocked an intersection in Cainta, Rizal. Even though the traffic light was green, the motorists were forced to stop because a couple of Angkas riders were blocking their way. Despite the continuous honking, the riders didn't budge an inch, one of them even stepped out of his motor and acted like managing the traffic flow of his fellow Angkas riders.
