A woman in Cagayan de Oro suffered a head injury after allegedly being hit by a car driven by her ex-boyfriend.

In a report by Cyril Chaves on GMA News "24 Oras" on Tuesday, the victim, who gave the name “Elle,” said that they had not seen the suspect for two weeks after she broke up with him.
Until she allegedly noticed the suspect's car near her workplace on Friday.
The victim was on her way home and was walking when she was allegedly hit by the said vehicle.

“Pagbundol niya sa akin, tumilapon ako, nabangga yung ulo ko sa semento. Siguro akala niya na mamamatay na ako. Pag-angat ko ng ulo ko, nagmaneho pa siya ulit papunta sa akin, nag-backing pa siya sa direksyon ko. Pag-backing niya, agad akong tumayo at tumakbo,” Elle said.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a head injury and scratches on other parts of her body.
“Baka nag-plot na siya ng plano kung kailan niya ako papatayin. Hindi ko talaga alam ang laman ng kaniyang utak. So, ang panawagan ko ilabas na lamang nila [ang ex-boyfriend ko]. I-surrender lang nila sa authorities,” Elle called.
According to the Cagayan de Oro police, the victim had previously filed a blotter against her ex-boyfriend.
“Hindi ito ordinaryo na Reckless Imprudence Resulting To Physical Injury, dahil nalaman natin na violation rin ito ng isang special law, itong RA 9262,” said Cagayan de Oro Police Deputy Spokesperson Police Captain Emilita Simon.
