- According to police authorities, the ambulance came from Pagadian City and headed to Cagayan De Oro City to bring a patient who needed an operation

- However, when the ambulance was at Purok 7, Barangay Dableston, the driver lost control of the vehicle because the road was slippery

According to Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) Spokesperson, Police Major Joan Navarro, that part of the road where the accident happened is being considered an accident-prone area.

RN Jasper Alcara died in the accident, while the other passengers injured including the patient were brought to the hospital for medical attention.

In a social media post, Pagadian City Mayor Sammy Co extended his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family of RN Alcara.
