- According to police authorities, the ambulance came from Pagadian City and headed to Cagayan De Oro City to bring a patient who needed an operation

- However, when the ambulance was at Purok 7, Barangay Dableston, the driver lost control of the vehicle because the road was slippery

According to Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) Spokesperson, Police Major Joan Navarro, that part of the road where the accident happened is being considered an accident-prone area.

RN Jasper Alcara died in the accident, while the other passengers injured including the patient were brought to the hospital for medical attention.

In a social media post, Pagadian City Mayor Sammy Co extended his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family of RN Alcara.

He also promised help to the families of everyone involved in the accident.

At this moment, police authorities are still waiting if the families of those involved in the incident would like to file a complaint against the driver of the ambulance.
