Two children in Caloocan City who were playing on the road were ran over by a taxi, and where one died while the other badly injured.

The two kids were seating on the road when a taxi passed by.

It then backed up, and attempted to turn, which means passing through the road where the kids were located.

The taxi driver signaled for the kids to move as he would be passing, but the two did not budge.

A girl could be seen gong near the kids, beckoning them to move.

While the kids were still on the road, the taxi driver went on ahead and ran over the two children.

One of the kids, Ismael, went under the taxi and died.

The other, JC, had his leg crushed under one of the tires.

“Hinahanap niya papa niya, ‘papa, papa.’ Sabi ko, ‘Anak, papunta si papa," said Ivy Espina, the mother of Ismael.

“Mga ilang salita lang siya sa akin, sabi niya madilim daw paningin niya, wala raw siyang makita," said the father of Ismael said.
