A baby was found inside a red eco bag covered with clothes and also a napkin, to make sure that the cries of the baby were not heard.
The eco bag was found by a man at the roadside in Brgy. Potrero, Malabon, around 7 a.m. on Dec. 23.
ABS-CBN reported that Kikay Amado, the vendor was informed by a man about the baby.
She then went to the area, found the little one alive.

Nagtitinda po ako d'yan tapos may lalaking lumapit sa akin na nangangalakal daw siya. Sabi niya 'Ate, may sanggol daw po doon.' Tapos pumunta ako doon sa likod tapos sabi niya 'Saan mo pa nakita'. 'Diyan lang daw 'yan.' Hindi niya ginalaw, ako ang pinagalaw niya," said Kikay.
"Hindi mabaho. Hindi siya umiiyak. Nakatakip siya ng towel, damit at napkin para hindi marinig 'yung iyak niya...nung binuksan ko na yung mga nakatakip umiyak na siya, buhay pa," she added.
She immediately sought the help of barangay officials.
Authorities reviewed CCTV footage in the area and found a man carrying the same eco bag on McArthur Highway.
