Three people have died after they ate a sea turtle in Maguindanao del Norte.
Thirty-one more became sick and were brought to the hospital.
Inquirer reported that the sea turtle was actually cooked but the victims later complained of stomach pain, with some of them vomiting afterwards.
All the victims were part of a tribe living in the coastal area of Barangal Linao.

Those who died remained unidentified but were all immediately laid to rest.
