A 2-year-old girl was walking on the road when she was mauled by a dog.

The girl was simply walking when the dog that was on the road immediately jumped at her until she fell on the ground.

According to the mother of the child, the owner of the dog helped in the medical expenses.

The child sustained wounds on her head as a result of the act.

The barangay also resolved to tighten their campaign for "aso-mo-itali-mo."

Many netizens expressed their dismay over the incident.
