A 51-year-old female nurse died after she was stabbed several times by a patient in the hospital, who was already about to be discharged.

CDN Digital revealed The patient stabbed the nurse with a pair of scissors, several times.

The nurse was a resident of the Brgy. Dao, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

Another person who was injured was a 21-year-old utility man who resides in Purok 4, Brgy. Cainsican, Inabanga Town, and who tried to prevent the patient from attacking the nurse.

Police Lieutenant Colonel John Kareen Escober, chief of Tagbilaran City Police Station said that when the suspect, Marlito Cardines Linguis, as per Inquirer, was asked why he did that to the nurse, the suspect answered that he heard the nurse say something that he did not like, which was why he stabbed her.

The nurse was stabbed on the neck, hands, and other parts of her body.

“The unforeseen tragedy has deeply affected our community at CDG Bohol Doctors Hospital. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues at BoholDoc as we navigate this challenging time together,” said GMA News Online.

Not so far from the children was a pick-up, and just in time when it was about to move, it hit the 2-year-old kid who was rolled over by the said vehicle. The driver quickly brought the baby to the hospital but was eventually pronounced dead on arrival.
