The father of the Grade 12 student whose lifeless body was discovered in a lodging house room in Toledo City has revealed additional details about circumstances prior to the incident.
It can be recalled that the lifeless body of Grade 12 student Mae Fatima Tagactac was discovered by a personnel of the said lodging house.
A report by the Manila Times stated that a room boy of the lodging house found the body around 8:30AM.
In a report by GMA News, the police are now conducting a regionwide manhant operation against the suspect whom they identified to be 43-year-old Lorben Larot.

In a subsequent report by News 5, it stated that the Mae Fatima’s father, Albino Tagactac, gave additional details about the suspect as narrated to him by her daughter when she was alive.
He said that his daughter told him some time before that Larot, who have been chatting with her, is allegedly a seafarer.
The elder Tagactac also said that his daughter told him Larot had promised to buy her a cellphone when they meet.
He also said that the day before she went missing, her daughter asked permission to go to her school and that was the last time he saw her alive.

According to the media outlet, a background check of the suspect, based from news sites in Mindanao revealed this detail. He allegedly stabbed his father, Police Major Lorenzo Larot, 21 times. He then allegedly fled after committing the crime.
It can be recalled that police authorities have identified the suspect in the killing of 18-year-old Grade 12 student Mae Fatimaas Lorben Cabugsan Larot who, according to Sunstar, was using the alias Richard Cabugsan. Police Regional Office 7 has already ordered a regionwide manhunt operation on the suspect. Police Lieutenant Colonel Gerard Ace Pelare, spokesperson for PRO 7 Director Brigadier General Anthony Aberin, expressed their intent to capture the suspect and use all available resources they have.
