A 10-year-old kid was found dead inside the apartment of their neighbor.

Based on the report of ABS-CBN News, the body of the kid was on the sink and was covered with pots and pans.

It was early morning of Tuesday when the family reported the matter to authorities.

Thereafter, a search was conducted and authorities found the body in the neighbor's apartment.

They also found a wire near the sink, which they suspect was the one used to strangle the victim.

The grandmother narrated to the authorities that she actually brought the kid to the gate of her house, and saw her off headed home.

However, the mother said that they started to worry when the kid has not yet arrived around 7 pm.

Thereafter, they reported to the authorities

A review of a CCTV found the kid last seen near the apartment of the suspect, which led them to search the said apartment and that was when they discovered the body of the victim.

The suspect was nowhere to be found.

The Atimonan police are still looking for the suspect.
