Erwin Tulfo, the brother of Sen. Raffy Tulfo, is mourning the unfortunate passing of their mother, Caridad Teshiba-Tulfo, on social media.

On Tuesday, August 27, Erwin took to his official Facebook page to upload a photo of himself watching over his mother in the hospital.

He then bid goodbye to his mother, but not before thanking her for bringing them into the world.

According to Erwin, they will never forget her love, as well as the sacrifices she had made for him and the rest of the family, touching netizens.

"Bye Mom…. Thank you for bringing us into this world. We will never forget your love and sacrifices for us. Thank you for teaching us how to help the needy and fight for the helpless. Thank you so much Mom. We love you. Till we meet again," he wrote.

As of this writing, Erwin's post has garnered over 568 shares and 28,000 comments from his followers who all sent their condolences.

"Boss, my family joins me in extending our prayers and condolences to the whole Tulfo Family," one netizen had even written.

Erwin Tulfo is a veteran journalist and broadcaster. His brothers are journalists as well. They are Ben, Ramon and Raffy Tulfo.

As previously reported by KAMI in 2019, Erwin Tulfo got into a controversy after he disrespected Sec. Rolando Bautista on air. According to Tulfo, his family was affected by the aftermath of his rant. He said that people who has political vendetta against him is using the issue to destroy him.

Meanwhile, back in 2023, Erwin Tulfo's brother, Sen. Raffy Tulfo promised to give a P500K reward to anyone who can reveal the location of Jeffrey Magpantay. Jeffrey is the personal bodyguard of Maj. Allan Avena de Castro. The senator said that he would be giving the reward in cash.
