- An SUV that was suspected to be connected with the disappearance of Miss Grand PH candidate Catherine Camilon was found

- As per the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), it was found in Brgy. Dumuclay, Batangas City

- In a report of DZBB, witnesses stated that the red Honda CRV was abandoned in the area since Thursday

- The said SUV has already been brought to the custody of the police to undergo forensic tests

A red Honda CRV believed to be connected with the disappearance of Miss Grand PH candidate Catherine Camilon, was found in Brgy Dumuclay, Batangas.

A report by DZBB stated that witnesses alleged that the vehicle had been abandoned in the area since Thursday.

As per CIDG 4A Chief Police Colonel Jacinto Malinao Jr., the vehicle was already brought to the Batangas Provincial Police Office for forensic tests.

As per GMA News Online, the police are still waiting for the results of the forensic tests from the SOCO team.

The results will show if there were pieces of evidence in the vehicle.

“We are still waiting for the results of SOCO operations for possible presence of biological trace evidence like hair or blood," said Malinao.

Catherine Camilon was a contestant for Miss Grand Philippines 2023. She was talked about on social media after reports were made that she went missing on Oct. 12.

Miss Grand Philippines contestant Catherine Camilon has been reported missing since October 12. Her sister Chin-Chin Camilon took to Facebook to ask for help in finding the beauty queen-teacher. Chin-Chin also shared an image showing details about her missing sibling, sharing that she is 26 years old, with a height of 5’6.” She then uploaded an image of Catherine’s vehicle and its plate number.

Her sister, Chin-Chin Camilon, expressed her great concern and love for the missing beauty queen and teacher. Chin-Chin also wrote a message to Catherine telling her to come home and surprise their mom, who is celebrating her birthday today. The sister shared last Friday that many people are extremely worried about Catherine since it is unusual for her not to message her family about her whereabouts.
