It's Showtime created a huge buzz after ABS-CBN released a statement about the noontime show's new home.
The statement unveiled that the program is set to air on GMA's free television channel, GTV, starting July 1.
GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon then had a statement about the Kapamilya variety show.

Boy Abunda shared the media tycoon's statement during the "For Today's Talk" segment of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Tuesday.
"We are happy to provide a home to It's Showtime."
"We will have a big contract signing soon," Atty. Gozon said.

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.
Starting July 1, It’s Showtime will start airing on GMA’s GTV channel from Monday to Saturday, at 12 noon. The ABS-CBN show will also continue to air at the same time slot on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC. The It’s Showtime team declined the 4:30 p.m. time slot offered to them by TV5 after the original “Eat Bulaga” hosts left TAPE Inc. and GMA and moved to the Kapatid network, where it will occupy It’s Showtime’s time slot starting July 1.
Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Kim Chiu and their co-hosts then reacted to the announcement. They expressed happiness over their noontime program's new home.
