Showbiz reporter Lolit Solis took to social media to complain about celebrities allegedly not showing gratitude to entertainment writers for writing positive pieces about them.

Lolit lamented that she has not been invited by any big stars to their Christmas parties yet nor has she received gifts from them.

She also expressed her confusion about famous actress Marian Rivera allegedly endorsing three lotion brands. Lolit speculated that the issue might have been overlooked by Marian or her management. Lolit added that Rhea Tan of Beautederm might get upset because of this.

“Nakakaloka Salve na hanggang ngayon wala pa akong naririnig na magbibigay ng Christmas party ang kahit sinong big stars sa ngayon. Sana naman huwag makalimutan ng mga stars ang laki ng tulong ng showbiz press sa kanila. Minsan lang sa isang taon puwede nila gantihan ang magagandang write up ng mga writers sa kanila. Buti pa nga ang friends natin sila Hazel, Tet de Joya, at Faye hindi nakakalimot sa atin at panay ang bigay ng appreciation gifts na kung minsan nakakahiya ng tanggapin.

“Iyon mga stars na ubod ng kunat na hindi man lang makaalala sa mga writers na lagi silang isinusulat. Siguro dahil 3 lotion yata ang endorsed ni Marian Rivera baka mamigay siya ng lotion ng Beautederm at iyon dalawa pang siya ang endorser. Nagtataka ako bakit nagawa iyon ni Marian o ng nagha handle sa kanya. Baka na overlooked na may lotion endorsement na siya. Ayaw naman siguro ni Marian na magtampo sila at Rhea Tan. Baka naman naka usap na niya kaya kinuha parin niya iyon lotion na ini endorsed niya ngayon. In an earlier post, Lolit even advised Rhea Tan to not feel sad about Marian using other lotion brands since many people still buy and use her products.

Dingdong and Marian have two children – Maria Letizia "Zia" Dantes and Jose Sixto "Ziggy" Dantes IV. The two are considered the power couple of GMA.

In a previous report by KAMI, Marian Rivera celebrated her birthday on the set of her upcoming Kapuso series. GMA Network took to social media and posted a video giving glimpses of the celebration. In the video, her co-stars Gabby Concepcion, Gabby Eigenmann, Kiray Celis, and Raphael Landicho also aired heartfelt birthday greetings for Marian. It can be recalled that Marian turned 39 years old last August 12.

Earlier, Marian delighted her fans and followers with her online posts. On her Instagram page, Marian gave everyone a glimpse into her grand birthday party. For the special occasion, Marian decided to celebrate at Haliya at the City of Dreams. She also wore a stunning all-purple ensemble for the event, which made netizens gush.
