Social media personality Sammy Manese is currently trending due to news about his passing.

Sammy died on Wednesday, November 29. A family member and his friend confirmed the heartbreaking news.

“It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved family member Sammy Manese,” Bea Manese posted on Facebook.

“May he be remembered for all the joy and laughter he shared with everyone. We ask for your prayers, respect, and privacy during this time,” she added.

His best friend, Yoo Na, also took to FB to express grief over Sammy’s demise.

“To my bestfriend,

Mahal na mahal kita sobra. Hindi ko matatanggap at never ko matatanggap na wala ka na, ang sakit sobra hindi namin alam kung pano ulit magsisimula ngayong wala ka na samin. Thank you sa lahat ng tulong at binigay mo samin. Sobrang bata mopa para bigyan kami ng bahay at sasakyan sobrang proud ako sayo.”

“Miss ko na magtago ng pagkain at softdrinks para lang ipakain sayo dahil bawal ka nga sa mga softdrinks at miss na miss ko na yung mga chikahan natin at panlalait dahil sobrang maldita mo nga. Sobrang dami mong taong pinasaya at sobrang daming nagmamahal sa'yo, mahal na mahal kita. Rest in paradise, mahal ko. Hinding hindi ka na mahihirapan,” Yoo Na’s post reads.

Sammy was known for his funny vlogs on YouTube. His channel has 1.93 million subscribers, as of this posting. In his vlogs, it was mentioned that Sammy had a heart disease.

Aside from Sammy, there were other known personalities who died recently. Angel Locsin’s Kalokalike Angel Mystica, or Mystica S. Barata in real life, died on November 21. She earned fans after imitating Angel Locsin on the “Kalokalike Face 3” segment of “It’s Showtime."

Last month, comedian and director Joey Paras died at the age of 45. He passed away on October 29 at 5:40 p.m., according to Joey’s niece Zciara Shyne Sinchon-Fabian.
