Addressing recent online discussions regarding financial matters, Noel expressed his stand that monetary issues are best handled privately between those involved.
"I have never been one to discuss matters of money in public. I believe such matters deserve privacy, discretion, and direct conversation — not a public forum."
He then questioned the underlying motives of those bringing such disputes to social media platforms:
"So if the intention is truly to settle something with him, I gently ask: is making content out of it the proper and dignified way to do it?"
Closing his message, Noel urged people in and out of the industry to handle issues with grace:
"Let us stick to kindness. Let us stick to goodness. That is how we always try to do things. ✌🏼🩵🙏🏼 #ALittleMoreKindness #LevelUp"
The statement quickly earned backing from industry peers, with actress Iza Calzado (@missizacalzado) among those who liked the post in solidarity with the Kapuso actor.
Alden Richards is a popular Kapuso actor, singer, and television host. He first gained recognition on GMA-7 after joining the reality show StarStruck. He rose further to fame through teleseryes such as Alakdana, One True Love, and Victor Magtanggol, and has been recognized as a strong dramatic actor. In 2015, Alden’s popularity soared even more because of the phenomenal love team “AlDub” with Maine Mendoza in the “Kalyeserye” segment of Eat Bulaga!. This made him one of the most prominent leading men in the industry, leading to blockbuster films and numerous awards. Outside of showbiz, Alden is also known for being family-oriented and for maintaining a close connection with his fans.
As previously reported by KAMI, Alden Richards has drawn attention online after reposting an Instagram Story comparing former House Speaker Martin Romualdez’s hospital arrest with the reported detention of an elderly man who allegedly begged to feed his grandchild. The repost has questioned the apparent contrast between Romualdez being allowed to remain in a hospital after experiencing an anxiety attack and a 68-year-old man who was reportedly ailed after begging on the streets.
Meanwhile, Alden Richards immediately agreed to star in Love, Siargao after Nadine Lustre was mentioned. He said Nadine’s local connection to Siargao could strengthen the series’ storytelling. The project marks Alden’s first time working with Viu Philippines. He also welcomed the chance to play an island boy and shoot a project on an island which is a new challenge for him.
