She said she was willing to accept available work, including performing at the campaign event, because she wanted to help her family.

“Even if I got bashed or people said things about me, I was willing to do it for the sake of my family, especially for my dad at that time, because it wasn't about me. It was my way of helping him. My only wish was for him to recover,” Lyca said.

For Lyca, the situation was not simply about criticism over her career decisions or social media activity. She recalled that her father's stroke was an especially difficult experience for their family, making her determined to continue working despite the backlash.

“I had pursued that dream for their sake, so was I just going to give up? That was the first time something like that had happened, him suffering a stroke in 2022, and it was the hardest thing we ever went through,” she added.
