The former 2NE1 member shared her reflections through her X account, formerly known as Twitter, where she admitted that certain thoughts about her career have recently been coming to mind unexpectedly.
Sandara looked back on the years she has spent working in show business, beginning with her career in the Philippines. She noted that she has been working almost continuously for 22 years since making her debut in the country.
“I've been working almost nonstop for 22 years since my debut in the Philippines, you know. Of course, during trainee days, it wasn't ’work’ per se, but I was so swamped with practice. Lately, these thoughts just pop into my head out of nowhere,” she shared.

Her reflection came as she acknowledged that maintaining an active schedule has become something she thinks about more as she gets older.
Sandara wondered how much longer she would be able to sustain the same pace of work and whether her stamina might eventually become a challenge.
“How much longer can I keep up this kind of active schedule?” she asked in her post.
She also thought about what could happen if getting older eventually affected her physical strength and made it more difficult for her to maintain her busy lifestyle.
“What if I get older and my stamina drops, making it tough?” she continued.
Despite those concerns, Sandara remained lighthearted about her physical condition. She joked that she has not exactly had the best physical condition since she was 20 years old.
“Sure, my physical condition's been lousy since I was 20, lol, but I'm hanging in there 😁 A bit sleepy, a bit tired, but happy right now. Tossing out some sentimental stuff in broad daylight,” she ended.
Her candid message quickly drew supportive responses from fans, many of whom expressed their appreciation for everything she has given to them throughout her career.
One fan celebrated Sandara's happiness and emphasized that her supporters only want to see her doing well.
“Glad to know as a daraling that you're happy! your happiness is all we want you deserve it,” the fan wrote.
Another supporter praised Sandara for continuing to give her all despite feeling tired.
“Kaya hindi nakakapagod i-stan ang nagiisang Sandara. Kasi naman kahit gaano siya kapagod ibinubuhos nya parin lahat lahat. Nakaka-inspire ka parati, ati,” another fan added.
Sandara's career began in the Philippines after she became the first runner-up of Star Circle Quest in 2004. She went on to appear in films, television series, and advertisements, eventually becoming one of the country's most recognizable and beloved stars.
She later moved to South Korea and trained under YG Entertainment. Sandara eventually became a member of the iconic girl group 2NE1, which achieved major success and became one of the influential groups in K-pop.
Following her time with 2NE1, Sandara continued pursuing solo music while also remaining active in entertainment. She has also continued returning to the Philippines for various guest appearances and projects.
With more than 20 years in the industry, Sandara's recent reflection showed another side of her journey: the reality of balancing a long-running career with the changes that come with getting older.
For now, however, the singer made it clear that despite being a little sleepy and tired, she remains happy and grateful for the life and career she has built.
