Actor Harvey Bautista has confirmed that he has moved on from his breakup with AC Bonifacio, but he is not looking to enter another relationship anytime soon as he focuses on establishing himself further in the entertainment industry.

Bautista addressed his current relationship status during an interview held after the advance screening of the fifth episode of “Drug War: Conspiracy on Silence.” When asked if he had already moved on from his split with Bonifacio, the actor gave a straightforward response, ABS-CBN reported.
“Yes na lang,” he said.
While Bautista admitted that he has already moved forward emotionally, he made it clear that romance is not among his priorities at the moment. Instead, he wants to dedicate his attention to his career and prove himself as an actor.

“Sa ngayon hindi muna [love life]. I want to focus on my career and getting my name as an actor and i want to make sure I do a good job,” he added.
Bautista also took the opportunity to clarify speculation surrounding his breakup with Bonifacio, particularly rumors linking Michael Sager to the end of their relationship.
He firmly denied that Sager had anything to do with their separation. Bonifacio previously discussed Sager during an interview with Boy Abunda, describing him as only a good friend.
“He is not [involved]. I get the confusion— online can get hectic. There is no involvement,” Bautista said.
Despite the personal changes in his life, Bautista is keeping his attention firmly on his acting career. He currently stars as Kiko in the six-episode series “Drug War: A Conspiracy of Silence,” with its fifth episode set to drop on Aug. 27 and its finale scheduled to stream on Sept. 3.
Reflecting on his role, Bautista said he hopes viewers will remember the emotional weight of what his character experienced throughout the series.
“I hope people remember how uncomfortable they felt watching what Kiko went through, his scenes—it is nothing compared to what happened. What we showed is the censored, filtered version. If you felt uncomfortable, I hope you remember that… I hope you remember the tears we shed the blood, the sweat, the grit,” he said.
Bautista also revealed that he is preparing for another acting project that could push him into unfamiliar territory.
Although the upcoming series has not yet started filming, the actor described the role as something he has never done before. He emphasized that the project will feature him in an older and more mature role rather than simply being more provocative.
“Hindi pa nafifilm or sisimulan. it is something I have not done, it is more mature. Not in a sexier sense— but an older role. Mas higher stakes as an actor,” he said.
For now, Bautista appears determined to let his work speak for him. With new projects ahead and his current series nearing its conclusion, the actor is placing his energy into taking on more demanding roles and strengthening his identity as an actor.
