CJ Ramos looked back with gratitude on how Coco Martin and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano helped him get back on his feet during a difficult period in his life.

In a Facebook post, the actor shared an old photo and realized that eight years had already passed since he started working on the hit ABS-CBN series.

“8 Years ago na pala ito!” CJ wrote as he recalled that he had only recently been released at the time.

He then remembered what happened during his first day of taping for Ang Probinsyano. According to CJ, Coco had him called and extended a helping hand when he badly needed a fresh start.

The former child actor said Coco “tinulungan po akong makabangon ulit,” making it clear how significant that opportunity was for him.

Reports from August 2018 also documented CJ’s return to acting through FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. At the time, he publicly thanked Coco for giving him another chance in show business shortly after his release.

What made CJ’s latest reflection even more meaningful was his revelation that the benefits of that opportunity are still part of his everyday life.

He shared that without his work on Ang Probinsyano, he might not have been able to acquire the vehicle that he now uses to earn a living through passenger service.

For the actor, the project was more than just another television appearance. It became part of the foundation that allowed him to move forward and build a source of income for himself.

CJ also made it clear that his gratitude toward Coco and the people behind the series has remained strong even after several years.

His recollection comes exactly eight years after reports in August 2018 confirmed his comeback through the Coco-led series.

The series debuted with a widely talked-about motorcycle chase and fight sequence featuring the two actors. Jhong also thanked Coco for once again giving him the opportunity to be part of a major action project. He added that he believes Filipino television productions are now capable of competing on the international stage.
