Elijah Canlas, during a brief interview with entertainment journalist MJ Marfori, openly admitted he is going through some personal challenges right now.
At the premiere night of his new movie HB2Me—where he stars alongside veteran actor John Arcilla—Elijah was asked if he is currently in a happy place in his life.

Upon hearing the question, the actor admitted that things haven't been smooth sailing behind the scenes.
"Not really, but it's okay because busy sa work, it's hard to ignore those blessings and spending time with the family, of course. Pero, um, it's not the happiest moment of my life, I'm really going through it," Elijah shared honestly.

Despite feeling the weight of his current situation, Elijah emphasized that he is keeping his focus on what matters most: his craft, his loved ones, and taking things one step at a time.
