Internationally acclaimed actress Dolly de Leon has opened up about her love life, saying she is perfectly happy being single as she continues to focus on raising her four children and pursuing her thriving acting career.

During her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Tuesday, July 14, Dolly candidly admitted that romance is not a priority in her life at the moment. While she has crossed paths with numerous handsome Hollywood actors throughout her international career, she revealed that none has managed to change her perspective on relationships.

According to the actress, there have been moments when some people appeared to be flirting with her, but she never entertained the idea of pursuing a romantic relationship.

"'Di ko type, ayoko. Wala akong time. Ayoko. I enjoy being single, I love being alone."

Dolly explained that situations never escalated to the point where she had to reject anyone directly. Instead, she simply laughed off the interactions and walked away, making it clear that she was not interested without creating unnecessary drama.

Although her career has reached remarkable heights with award-winning performances and international recognition, Dolly admitted that success also comes with moments of loneliness, particularly while working abroad.

She shared that living in the United States is very different from being home in the Philippines, where she can freely converse in her native language and spend more time with her loved ones.

"Like 'pag nandu'n ako, napipilitan akong mag-ingles the whole time. Nakakapagod mag-ingles the whole time, 'di ba? Ta's pag-uuwi ako galing work, tulog na 'yung mga anak ko, wala akong makausap, so yeah, it can be lonely."

Despite those challenges, the actress chooses to remain optimistic. Rather than allowing loneliness to overshadow her accomplishments, Dolly believes it is important to appreciate the blessings she has received throughout her life and career.

"Kasi parang sayang naman 'yung biniyaya sa 'kin ng Diyos kung magiging malungkot lang ako."

For Dolly, being single is not something she views negatively. Instead, she embraces the independence it gives her while continuing to prioritize her family, career, and personal happiness.
