VMX actress Robb Guinto made it clear that rumors surrounding her boyfriend Yasser Marta's alleged past with actress Claudine Barretto do not affect their relationship, saying she chooses to focus on the present instead of dwelling on what happened before they became a couple.

Speaking during the press conference for her upcoming production, "Solid Gold: The Robb Guinto Experience," Guinto addressed the long-running speculation involving Marta and Barretto. Although Marta previously denied that they were romantically involved, he admitted in an earlier interview that he had developed feelings for his former co-star.
Despite the public interest surrounding the issue, Guinto revealed that the subject has never become a discussion between them.
“Hindi namin napag-usapan. I believe kasi once past na, hindi importante. Mas important nangyayari sa kasalukuyan.”

“Dumedepende ako sa decision ng bosses and my manager. Lagi ko siya kino-consult lalo na sa new project — siya na pinagde-decide ko din. Pero tinatanggihan [ang sexy roles], hindi po, hindi ko kino-close door. Ayoko magsalita ng tapos. I know dito ako nagsimula and ayoko masabi na ayoko na magpa-sexy. We will never know career mo in the future. Hindi lahat naging successful after sexy roles.”
The actress also explained why she refuses to become selective when it comes to accepting projects.
“Gusto ko ginagawa ko. Ang akin, bat ako maging choosy—pera yan. Wag tayo magpa-choosy.”
Guinto is preparing to headline "Solid Gold: The Robb Guinto Experience" on July 29 at Viva Café alongside Roxanne De Vera, Margaret Sison, Paula Santos, and Aila Cruz. She revealed that she personally selected the songs for the show and promised audiences plenty of surprises.
“Ako lahat namili ng song na pe-perform ko. Nang hingi ako help sa pagpili pero lahat galing sa akin. Kakanta kami, sasayaw. Marami pasabog mangyayari. Ayoko mag-spoil masyado para exciting.”
