Ana Jalandoni became emotional while talking about the difficult chapter in her life involving her former relationship with actor Kit Thompson. In an interview with Julius Babao uploaded on YouTube, the actress candidly shared how she slowly healed from the traumatic experience and eventually chose forgiveness.

The celebrity admitted that the situation was not easy for her at all. According to Ana, she experienced depression during that time and even reached a point where she felt completely lost.

“Hindi siya madali,” she said while recalling the painful period in her life.

She revealed that prayer, counseling, and support from her loved ones helped her recover emotionally. Ana also shared that she became closer to God while trying to process everything that happened.

“Kailangan ko siyang kapitan si God that time kasi baka mapariwara ako,” she explained.

The actress said she attended counseling sessions regularly and appreciated the support of her parents, especially her father. She also admitted that despite everything, she still understood Kit’s personality and believed he was not entirely a bad person.

“Si Kit is really good person. Mabait ang pagkatao ni Kit,” Ana said during the interview.

According to her, the actor personally apologized to her and even traveled to Pangasinan to ask forgiveness from her father.

“Yes. Nagmakaawa talaga,” she shared.

Ana also revealed that she did not pursue further action against the actor because she wanted both of them to move forward with their lives. She added that Kit reportedly underwent therapy and became more spiritually active after the incident.

“I heard na nagch-church na rin siya,” she said.

Aside from discussing forgiveness, the actress also reflected on the realizations she gained after the painful experience. She said the situation taught her how to set boundaries and prioritize herself more.

“Alam ko paano pa mas mahalin pa yung sarili ko,” Ana explained.

The actress also encouraged women to recognize early warning signs in relationships. According to her, shouting, humiliation, and physical aggression should never be ignored.

“Kung mabuhatan ka naman ng kamay, hindi tama ang manakit kahit kanino,” she stressed.

Ana further shared that she believes people can still change, especially if they are willing to seek professional help and acknowledge their issues.

The interview also touched on her previous marriage in the United States, where she admitted she experienced another unhealthy relationship before eventually returning to the Philippines.

Despite the painful memories, Ana said she no longer carries anger in her heart. Instead, she chooses peace, healing, and self-growth as she continues moving forward with her life.

Kit’s ex-girlfriend Ana Jalandoni has already denied that there was a third party during her relationship with the actor.
