The PBA courtside reporter confirmed that she and Chad have already been dating for one month. Their relationship recently became a hot topic online because of their 15-year age gap.

Apple is currently 33 years old, while Chad is 18 years old.

“I know it's a very risky relationship because of the age gap but it's a risk we are both taking and I hope people can be kind enough to allow us to do that in peace,” Apple said in the video statement.

“And again sa mga na-offend, we're sorry but we just ask for respect as this should be a happy time for us,” she added.
