Kapuso actress Katrina Halili revealed that she was deeply moved and surprised by the emotional reactions of fans during a recent fan meet with her former partner, Kris Lawrence.

The actress shared the experience during the grand mediacon of GMA-7’s upcoming afternoon drama Kamao, where she spoke about reconnecting with Kris and their daughter Katie in front of supporters who regularly follow their family vlogs.

he explained that several fans became emotional and even shared testimonies about how watching their content helped them through difficult times.

“Imagine, nawala raw ang depression nila,” she said. Katrina added that some fans told them they felt happier and emotionally lighter because of the positive energy they saw in their videos.
The actress admitted she was stunned by the stories being shared during the gathering.
“Sa totoo lang, nasa-shock ako,” she said while describing how she kept asking Kris what they had done to inspire such reactions from people.
Katrina also addressed growing speculation about her relationship status with Kris. Although many fans continue hoping for their reconciliation, the actress clarified that they are simply being themselves in public and online.
“Hindi ko po iniisip yun,” Katrina said when asked if there was pressure for them to reunite romantically because of their popularity as a family tandem.
She also recalled the loud reaction from fans after she and Kris shared a kiss on the cheek during the fan meet.
Meanwhile, Katrina is set to portray the mother of Anton Vinzon in Kamao despite comments that she appears too young for the role.
