In a recent appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Sanya revealed that she feels she is already at the right age to take relationships more seriously, emphasizing maturity and clarity in her current stage of life.

“Kumbaga siguro nasa tamang age naman kami. ‘Yong parang hindi naman na tayo pabata, hindi na dapat tayo pabebe pa,” said Sanya.

She reflected on how she views love and commitment today.

She further explained her mindset when it comes to relationships, stressing that sincerity should always be the foundation once someone chooses to enter a serious commitment.

“Ako kasi, Tito Boy, ‘pag pumasok ka talaga sa relationship, dapat hindi ka na nakikipaglaro. Dapat ‘yon talaga ang goal n’yo pareho.” Sanya added.

Beyond her readiness for commitment, Sanya also highlighted an important factor in her current relationship setup—understanding and support from her partner regarding her demanding career in the entertainment industry. Boy Abunda acknowledged the importance of this, especially for someone dating outside showbiz.

“That’s very important. Lalo na if you’re not in the business.” Boy Abunda said during their conversation.

It can be recalled that back in March 2025, Sanya already expressed that she was ready to enter a relationship. During a media conference for the film “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan,” she also revealed that she had been dating a Chinese businessman at the time, further fueling public curiosity about her private life.
