To truly capture the essence of their characters in the movie "Midnight Girls," the two stars revealed that they stepped away from the cameras to serve as actual staff members in a local bar in Nagoya.

Appearing on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the actresses shared that the immersion was so effective that the customers had absolutely no clue they were being served by two of the Philippines' most recognizable faces.

According to a report by GMA News Online, the initiative was led by their co-star Jodi, who encouraged the group to experience the grind of the industry firsthand.

"Hindi kami nag-start na nagpakilala kami as artista," Sanya recalled during the interview. "Pinangunahan siya ni Ate Jodi Sta. Maria and then noong second day triny na namin. Nag-usap kami na ano, gagawin na ba natin."

Jane further explained that while the management of the establishment was aware of their identities, the patrons were kept in the dark to ensure an authentic experience.

"'Yung bar na 'yon, kilala natin 'yung owner, pero 'yung mga customer 'di nila alam na artista kami na gumagawa ng pelikula. Ang akala nila mga bago kaming pasok. Mga bagong salta," Jane added, using the term for newcomers.

The experience wasn't limited to just taking orders. To fully inhabit the lives of the entertainers they portray, they also performed dance routines to high-energy tracks like "Bakit Papa."
