"We really had to become like a babae sa omise na hindi nalalaman ng mga tao doon na kami ay nag-iimmersion. So we really had customers, we really had to perform, nabigyan kami ng mga tip," Jodi recalled, which stunned Dani during their sit-down interview on her podcast.

The veteran actress admitted that the immersion was far from easy and that there was fear as well.

"Sabi ko, 'Shocks, ganito pala yung feeling? Yung nakakakaba, nakakatakot, yung pag may showup, pinagdarasal mo na sana wag kang mapili," Jodi said, with her honesty being praised.

She even created a persona named "Yuki" to help her get into character during the entire immersion.

"We needed to feel that kaba, that anxiety, yung feelings of first time mo na uncertainty—'Anong mangyayari dito?'" she explained.

Jodi also shared a funny moment from her first shift. While she was expecting a large tip after her hard work, she was surprised by what she actually received from a customer.

"Ang unang tip na binigay sa akin... brewed coffee! Sabi ko, kailangan ko ba ng kape? Ba’t kailangan ko magising? Nag-eexpect ako ng lapa, binigay sakin eh kape," she laughed.

Beyond the humor, Jodi emphasized that the experience was crucial for the cast. By placing themselves in the shoes of real-life omise workers, they were able to bring a deeper level of humanity to their roles.
