Sachzna Laparan publicly addressed the backlash surrounding her now-deleted Facebook caption, admitting that the post was insensitive and poorly timed amid the current situation in the Philippines.

The social media personality shared a lengthy statement after netizens criticized her earlier caption, which read:
“Ang gulo na ng nangyayari sa mundo. Comment na lang kayo kung gusto nyo ng phone, ubusin ko na stocks ko dito!”
The post quickly circulated online and sparked negative reactions from several users who felt that the message appeared disconnected from the serious issues many Filipinos are currently facing.

In her apology, Sachzna acknowledged the criticism and said she understood why many people became upset and disappointed.
“I’ve been reading all your comments and messages, at naiintindihan ko kung bakit maraming nagalit, na-offend, at nadisappoint,” she wrote.
The influencer admitted that she became too focused on work commitments and a giveaway project at the time, which caused her to overlook how the post could affect others.
“Looking back now, narealize ko na sobrang wrong timing ng post ko at naging insensitive talaga siya lalo na sa current situation. I sincerely apologize for that,” she stated.
Sachzna clarified that her intention was never to disregard the struggles of Filipinos. She also addressed accusations from some netizens claiming that fame and financial success had changed her attitude.
“Gusto ko rin i-address yung mga nagsasabing, ‘Mayaman ka na kasi kaya wala ka nang pakialam.’ Hindi po,” she explained.
She added that long-time followers would know that she has continuously tried to help others in whatever way she could.
“The post was simply poorly timed and insensitive, at inaako ko yung pagkakamali ko doon,” she said.
The content creator also thanked those who expressed their concerns respectfully, saying the situation became a learning experience for her as a public figure.
