Dina Bonnevie opened up about her special bond with Fyang Smith during an interview featured by ABS-CBN News reporter Anna Cerezo.

The veteran actress shared that she became very close to the young star while working together on the upcoming series “Love is Never Gone.” According to Dina, Fyang eventually became like family to her during taping.

“No, mahal na mahal ko si Fyang. Fyang is like a baby girl to me,” the actress said.

Dina revealed that they even became roommates while filming the project. Because of that, she got to know Fyang more personally behind the cameras.

“Kulit siya. Lagi niya akong kinukulit,” she shared.

The actress also recalled how Fyang would often call her “Mama” and ask her advice about life and love. Dina said she appreciated how respectful and affectionate the young personality was toward her.

She then shared a memorable moment involving Fyang during her birthday. According to Dina, she was surprised when the young actress suddenly appeared and hugged her warmly.

“Nagulat ako. Natutulog ako. Gumising siya, nakahoodie. Tapos niyakap niya ako,” she recalled.

The veteran actress admitted that the gesture touched her deeply. Because of moments like that, Dina said she became even more attached to her co-star.

Aside from Fyang’s personality, Dina also praised her acting skills. While she admitted that the young star could be very playful on set, she stressed that Fyang becomes serious once the cameras start rolling.

“Kahit na makulit siya, pag may eksena siya, she can deliver,” Dina explained.

The actress also praised Fyang’s timing and emotions during scenes. She noted that the young star knows when to raise or soften her voice and when to cry naturally during dramatic moments.

She also emphasized that Fyang has no attitude problem and is very easy to work with on set. According to Dina, many people involved in the project were impressed by the young personality’s potential as an actress.

“Love is Never Gone” will officially begin streaming on Prime Video on May 8.
