Through her legal counsel, Mark Julius Estur, the actress clarified that she has no interest in seeking any financial gain or inheritance from the legacy left behind by the legendary National Artist.

The controversy began following a televised interview where Ian claimed to be the sole heir and announced the establishment of new corporate entities and foundations in honor of their mother.

The statement further noted that any attribution of these efforts to her is a false representation of the truth.

According to the official release, Lotlot has made a conscious and respectful decision to step away completely from the administration of the estate.

This move comes after Ian reportedly chose to take full responsibility for all legal matters. Her camp emphasized that, to their knowledge, no Last Will and Testament exists that grants sole authority to any single individual, contradicting earlier public statements.

The legal representative also touched upon a deeply personal rift, revealing that a foundation previously established by Lotlot and her other siblings had Ian’s initial support.

It was described as "deeply hurtful" when Ian later denied knowledge of the project once its social media presence went public. Since that incident, communication between the siblings has reportedly ceased.

Lotlot explained that her previous silence was rooted in a desire to maintain peace and respect for her mother’s memory during a difficult period of mourning.

Lotlot’s camp concluded by requesting the media and the public to refrain from associating her name with her brother’s independent initiatives, as she remains focused on her own independent path and charitable efforts.
