Her battle with Stage 4 cancer was first made public in a September episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho."

The revelation prompted an outpouring of support, with many stepping in to help lighten her financial and emotional burden.

One anonymous doctor offered assistance with her radiation therapy at Asian Hospital.

A fan also provided a condo unit near the treatment center so she could rest comfortably between sessions. After six days of therapy, doctors noted a significant reduction in the size of the tumor in her neck.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas last October, Ate Gay discussed her medical journey. She said she underwent 35 sessions of radiation and five rounds of chemotherapy.

Despite the new complications, she remains hopeful as she continues her recovery.
