David Licauco shared his frank sentiments regarding "three-month rule," which suggests that those who just came from a breakup should wait three months before dating again.

The "Pulang Araw" star was asked about the famous dating rule during his recent TikTok livestream for his new coffee business, Good Drip.

When asked whether he believes in the rule, the actor responded, "Siguro oo. Oo dapat."

He went on to explain, "Dapat, ‘di ba? Kasi isipin mo, kunwari ikaw, nakipaghiwalay ka, kailangan mo muna i-heal 'yung sarili mo so that 'yung baggages mo from the past relationship, hindi siya madadala sa next relationship mo."

"I think you have to work on yourself first mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually before you jump into another relationship para hindi ma-encounter' yung mga problems before during your past relationship," the Pampansang Ginoo then aired.

Furthermore, the Kapuso star underscored the importance of prioritizing oneself after a breakup.

"Self first… Kailangan munang ayusin ang sarili."
