Neri Miranda, according to the Public Information Officer of the Southern Police District, allegedly failed to show herself in court, which might be the reason why she was ordered arrested.
In an interview with the program, “Teleradyo Serbisyo” of DWPM Radyo 630, SPD PIO Police Major Hazel Asilo said that based on her knowledge, a warrant of arrest can only be issued by the court after the subject has already undergone a series of preliminary investigations.
Papano ho ba yung ganyang? Papanong di siya naging aware na may warrant of arrest? Talaga ho ba nangyayari yan?” Teleradyo Serbisyo’s anchorman asked.

The SPD PIO further disclosed in the interview that Neri allegedly was supposedly asked by the court to show herself before it twice but she allegedly failed to appear on both occasions.
“Eh yung nga eh kasi may mga lumalabas na haka-haka eh wala nga siyang ganung natanggap eh diba nagulat na lang na meron siyang warrant eh no. So paano yung ganun. Kadalasan ba'y hindi natatanggap talaga?” the anchor of Teleradyo Serbisyo asked.
Earlier in a post, Chito Miranda, the husband of Neri, said that his wife did not receive any notice whatsoever.
