Heart Evangelista shared her realizations after the health scare of her husband Chiz Escudero, where the latter needed to be airlifted to Manila.

She said that family is more important than anything and all the material stuff, including fashion weeks, would not just matter.
"Aanhin mo ang lahat ng 'to kung wala ka naming tao na you'd like to share it with. And for me, your time here on earth with your loved ones is far more important than all the riches and whatever fashion week...saksak niyo sa baga yung Birkin at whatever na fashion week na yan. I would rather be with family."
Heart also said that she cannot do anything without Chiz and that in the event of an untoward incident, it would mean her downfall.
