Chito Miranda and his wife, Neri Naig-Miranda, in a recent post on Instagram, shared a reflection about how old they are now, pointing out that they’re already in their middle age.

In his post, Chito shared the convo he had with Neri about how old they are now.

“Buhay probinsya. Natawa na lang si Neri kanina habang bumibili kami ng tinapay. Sabi nya, "tanda na natin"...at napangiti ako,” Chito wrote in his post.

He then observed that in a way, his wife is correct.

The Parokya Ni Edgar frontman then narrated how old he and Neri were when they first met and then contrasted it with how old they are now.

“Tama nga naman. I was 33 when we 1st met. She was only 26. I'll be 49 in 3 months. Sya naman 41 na,” the PnE frontman said.

Despite being in their middle ages, Chito said the excitement between them when they go out on a date, travel together, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life, didn’t fade.

“Pero honestly we still feel like 2 teenagers out on an adventure. Excited pa rin mag-date, mag-roadtrip papuntang beach, at kumain kung saan saan,” Chito said.
“Para lang kaming naglalaro ng bahay-bahayan, trying our best to act like adults, pero totoong may mga anak, may bahay outside the city, enjoying a slow-paced life,” he added.

He then revealed what they loved doing nowadays, indicating that it’s really nice if one grows old with the one he or she loves.

“Eto na yung mga trip namin...bumili ng mga kung anu-ano sa talipapa. Kanina: itlog, lemon, at pandesal. Napaka-peaceful at tahimik lang ng buhay, tumatanda kasama ng mahal mo. Saya lang eh.❤️ Anyway, tulog na ko ulit✌🏼😅,” Chito said.

Chito Miranda is a famous music artist known as the frontman of the iconic OPM band Parokya Ni Edgar. On December 13, 2014, he married Neri Naig, an actress and entrepreneur in the Philippines. They have an adorable firstborn named Miggy. In October 2021, Neri gave birth to their second child, Manuel Alfonso Miranda, whose nickname is Cash.

Recently, Chito also expressed his gladness and gratitude in a post after he was able to come home to his family. It can be recalled that the Parokya ni Edgar frontman and his band were stranded for days in Sorsogon due to typhoon Kristine. The PnE frontman then narrated what he and his band went through for several days. He also thanked all the people who helped during the entire ordeal.

It can be recalled that the band, Parokya ni Edgar, took a photo of themselves taking a bath in the rain after their flight got cancelled due to Typhoon Kristine. The band went to Sorsogon for the Kasanggayahan Festival on October 21. In their post on social media at the time, they said they won't be able to come home because their flights got cancelled and it's too dangerous to travel via roadtrip.
