During his guest appearance on Karen Davila's vlog, the Kapuso star reflected on his past efforts to find love, admitting that there was a period when he actively searched for a meaningful relationship.
"Before po kasi, I would like to put it as I was really searching for it. People are saying, ayun na lang 'yung kulang. Nasa'yo na lahat e," Alden shared.
He revealed that he did try to build genuine connections with several women, hoping that one of them would eventually develop into something more serious. However, according to him, those relationships never reached the next stage despite appearing promising.

"But I also did try to look, but siguro po, I think ang nangyayari kasi sa kanya is like people, all the girls I tried to have a connection with."
"Kapag nandoon na siya, Ms. Karen. Kapag alam mong tatawid na, bigla lang parang gumaganito for some reason," he explained.
As the conversation continued, Alden admitted that he eventually realized what truly occupies his heart these days.
"Maybe unconsciously, maybe sinasabi ko lang talaga na I was looking, but basically, I am so in love with this. I am so in love working with people, and discovering new things about myself as well, and how I get to express myself, and the things I work on," he said.
The actor explained that his career allows him to continuously learn, meet new people, and express himself creatively. Because of that mindset, he believes his personal fulfillment keeps growing without necessarily depending on a romantic relationship.
"With that mindset po kasi, parang di natatapos e. Tuloy-tuloy lang po, and I think, sometimes, ayun 'yung hindi ma-gets sa akin na this is how I am as a person, so I don't think I really have to explain myself every time because I am tired of it," Alden added.
He also emphasized that he no longer feels obligated to justify his personal decisions to anyone. Instead, he prefers to focus his energy on opportunities that allow him to grow both professionally and personally.
"I just want to move forward and create beautiful projects, beautiful things out of the opportunities coming my way," he said.
