The lead stars have been undergoing intensive training to prepare for their medical roles, but despite the pressure of learning new skills and adjusting to the technical aspects of the series, they said the atmosphere on set remains light and enjoyable.
During a report by Aubrey Carampel on 24 Oras aired on June 29, Andrea shared that the cast quickly became close, creating a fun environment while filming.
“Para kaming barkada on set. To the point na nilalapitan na kami na huwag muna kami magsama-sama kasi kailangan na natin i-shoot 'to. Sobrang everytime na nagka-cut, lokohan agad, tawanan.”

According to the actress, everyone naturally bonded during filming, making it difficult to stop chatting and joking around even when they were already needed for the next scene. Their camaraderie has helped make the demanding taping schedule much easier to handle.
For Alden, having a positive relationship with his co-stars plays a significant role in delivering a better performance. He admitted that he immediately felt comfortable working with the ensemble cast.
“Mahirap gumawa ng isang proyekto na hindi ka komportable sa mga katrabaho mo, and for some reason, iba ibang flavor 'yung nabibigay ng actors na kasama ko dito.”
The actor explained that each member of the cast contributes something unique to the project, creating a collaborative environment that benefits everyone involved. He believes that genuine comfort among actors naturally translates into stronger chemistry on screen.
Aside from Richards and Torres, Code Grey also stars Christopher de Leon, Romnick Sarmenta, Faith Da Silva, Allen Ansay, Shuvee Etrata, Joross Gamboa, Christian Bautista, Kristoffer Martin, and Jon Lucas.
As production continues, viewers can expect a medical drama that combines emotionally charged stories with authentic performances from its ensemble cast. While the series demands rigorous preparation from the actors, the friendships formed behind the scenes have become one of the production's brightest aspects.
Code Grey is expected to premiere on GMA soon.

In another report, Andrea Torres revealed that she sought guidance from her sibling, who is a doctor, to help her prepare for her role in Code Grey. The actress admitted that learning medical terminology and pronouncing technical terms correctly were among the biggest challenges she faced. She added that a medical consultant is always present on set to ensure the cast performs procedures and delivers dialogue as accurately as possible.
