Gerald Anderson, in a recent post on Instagram, appealed for help for the Batangas victims of landslide and flooding caused by Typhoon Kristine.

In a video that the actor posted on Instagram, Gerald talked directly to fans and followers and appealed for their help.
He first gave an update about the situation in Batangas and then laid out his plan.
“Good day everyone. Kanina po, galing kami sa Coast Guard station sa Batangas, kinumusta po natin yung lagay, yung sitwasyon, and they are extremely devastated also by Typhoon Kristine,” Gerald said in the video.

He then said that he was able to talk to Coast Guard Commander Tuvilla, whom the actor said gave him an update about the situation on the ground.
“Nakausap ko po si Commander Tuvilla at inupdate niya po kami about the situation on the ground. Ang naisip ko na plano, during this weekend, today and tomorrow, is makalikom po tayo ng mga donations,” the actor said.
Gerald then enumerated the things that people can donate.
“Extra clothes nyo po, kung meron po kayong mga extra na kumot, kung gusto nyo po mag-donate ng mga toothbrush, toothpaste, hygiene kits, by monday po dadalhin po 'to namin sa kanila,” the actor said.
In his caption, Gerald informed everyone where they could drop off their donations.
“Hi everyone this is a Call for help para sa mga Kababayan natin nasalanta ng bagyo at Landslide sa batangas 💔 Hopefully we can come together again .. asking for Donations in kind.. Drop off will be at all The Floor Branches. 42a Samat Street Banawe Quezon City. Gameville ballpark Mandaluyong,” Gerald said.
